I really enjoyed shooting the covers for Duo Magazine last year. Top image is of Ashley Pillierron a Sports and Exercise Scientist and bottom is Renee Nicol who appeared on the cover of the Christmas edition. Can’t wait to see which girls get selected for the 2010 covers.

Well with Christmas just around the corner its time to have some weekends back again. This was shot at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Townsville – a place where I seem to hang out most Saturdays .

Wedding Slideshow
I just can’t get enough of making slideshows and movies at the moment. I seemed to have cracked the sweet spot of reasonable file sizes for download and reasonable quality. Its taken a hell of a lot of experimenting but it now all seems to work. Watch this space for lots more short clips.

Milo at Killymoon Creek
A short movie I’ve been working on with fellow students at JCU. The type was created in Adobe After Effects which is the most amazing bit of software once you get your head around wiggly expressions, animators, character offset etc etc.
Day at the Races
A great day was had by all at the opening of the winter carnival in Townsville. All the fillies were there in their finest – a little wobbly in high heels by the end of the day.
BOSS (best of student show)
Some great performances by School of Creative Arts students at JCU tonight. Good to see that the arts are far from dead in Townsville. Our project “Landmines” even got a showing at the exhibition.
